I’ve decided I want to blog more. Rather than just thinking about doing it, I’m starting right now. I will be posting on this blog once a day / once a week for all of 2011.
I know it won’t be easy, but it might be fun, inspiring, awesome and wonderful. Therefore I’m promising to make use of The DailyPost, and the community of other bloggers with similiar goals, to help me along the way, including asking for help when I need it and encouraging others when I can.

On any given day, I can be found drinking coffee in my favorite shops while people-watching in Kalispell, Montana. However, the art of writing is first in a line of my many interests. My genres of choice are poetry and short fiction. I also enjoy hiking, biking, watching movies and the occasional game night with friends. “Interneting” and “facebooking” with long distance internet “sisters” and family are activities that I also find enjoyable.
My current writing goals include a compilation of an anthology of poetry and short stories entitled “Twice the Tornado”, plus a historical fictional novel based on the life of a Bitterroot Valley, Montana pioneer woman.
Currently, living in the Flathead Valley of Montana, I am in a close relationship with my best friend and help care for our family of four dogs and two cats. Surrounded by rivers, trees and mountains, I find plenty of inspiration for writing topics. Living in close proximity to Glacier National Park, I am able to form interesting characters from the many tourists passing through. I guess I could say that I have chosen the perfect time and place to return to my writing career.
